Because he tends to be quieter and more reserved in public and in front of strangers, Hiro can appear to be a cultured, mild-mannered young man who enjoys spending time reading and painting in quiet places. He is, however, far from mild-mannered and can be rather harsh and blunt, since he is a sharp, witty and intellectual person who enjoys a challenge anytime. He doesn’t believe in expressing his feelings publicly because he deems it immature and unprofessional. Hence he maintains a calm disposition that others may consider cold or aloof. He likes to believe he is in control of his life, temper and actions. He tries to keep his opinions to himself and tends to reflect on them on his own, but when he feels strongly about something, it's difficult to shut him up about it.

Despite his sophisticated and professional demeanour, Hiro is in fact easily annoyed by things that do not meet his standards (this includes himself) and is most of the time, to his utter dismay, unable to hide his irritation. In fact, with people who are closer to him, they might even describe him as being somewhat dramatic. He likes it best when he is able to keep a cool attitude and maintain control over his temper and innate aggression.

Gets cold really really easily, hence is always wearing an insane number of layers of clothing.
Being an only child and having moved constantly since he was a kid (and also not being a very sociable person), Hiro does not have many friends that he considers “close”.
Can sometimes be a bit of a drama king. And a sore loser. He's still learning.
Aside from his close friends, the only other person who calls Hiro “Yuki” is his mother.
Is best at manipulating snow/ice, rather than liquid water for some reason. 
Has been living on Bonbon Island for 1 and a half years. 

•••• Mii History ••••

Hiro's parents were from different areas of the Mii World, with his mother being from the Western side, and his father being from the Eastern. Due to the nature of his parents' jobs, at a young age, Hiro found himself leading a semi-nomadic lifestyle, changing island homes every so often whenever his family moved. Having his life in such disarray with little sense of predictability, Hiro grew to dislike this lifestyle, though forcing himself to adapt with it.

On a particular island by the name of 'Bonbon Island' that his mother was especially fond of, he had met a Mii quite unlike any of his peers -- she was an aspiring travel blogger, and they shared many interests. The best part was that she never let his cold front chill her warm, bubbly, adventure-loving one. He had to leave the island after a year again, but continued to keep in contact with her to this day via online platforms.

All this travelling came to a stop, however, when his mother was diagnosed with an incurable illness. Hiro was very close to his mother and thus extremely saddened by the news, but remained mature and strong due to his witty and strong-willed mother’s encouragements. She passed away peacefully in her sleep after 3 years of battling the illness, after which Hiro’s father let him complete his education where they had settled. He then gave him a choice to return to either his maternal or paternal homeland. Hiro however, chose neither, and ended up returning to the island his mother had loved so much, and the island he had met the strange, loud, adventurous Mii, determined to live out a promise to his late mother to "live his life to the fullest". 

He actually hadn't intended to stay on the island as long as he did, (especially when his best friend was no longer living on the island) but living here brought him the sense of order and routine he craved, not to mention that he finally had time to hone the water manipulating tricks he had picked up from his mother before she had passed. Whilst exploring the island, he also began to find little nooks and crannies, "getaway spots" as his mother had so affectionately coined, depicted in a photo album she had compiled and left to him after her death. Every time he explored the island, it was as if he was picking up traces of his mother's memory, and reliving them through the island. 

His father and his childhood friend still drop by every so often to pay him a visit, but Hiro has settled on the island, for now. 

Relationships:

Mother (deceased)
He used to enjoy a challenging relationship with his equally intelligent mother. They were constantly competing and trying to outwit each other. He resembles his mother more in terms of appearance and personality, as well as likes and dislikes. He misses her very much. 

Father (travelling between Eastern Islands for work)
He respects his father deeply, although the latter is much simpler and less intellectual than his mother, for his industrious attitude and sense of responsibility. He sometimes envies his fathers’ simple nature and adaptability. He visits Bonbon-Island several times a year to visit his son. 

Candy: Best friend (travelling around the world)
His closest friend is his best friend from childhood, a travelling writer-blogger-journalist, who he keeps in constant contact with online. She has been known to drop by Bonbon Island every so often in her travels, and has actually gained quite a following online. 

Ancilla: Neighbour and close frand
Hiro might not agree wholly with Ancilla's overly easygoing personality (to the extent of being a doormat) and tries his best to protect this unlikely frand whenever he can. He finds that the Mii provides pleasant company that Hiro enjoys and appreciates, and has grown to like having him around and confiding things in him when he needs a gentler and more easygoing opinion.

Lana Lapaca Lapaki: Sweetheart
After a few somewhat violent encounters that involved a ball to the face and some band-aids, the snowman found himself developing a soft spot and eventual affection for this endearing, fiery little ball of energy, their connection strengthened by the fact that she was able to read his mind for what he was really thinking, as opposed to the abrasive words he would speak. She understood him deeper than most due to this fact, and eventually, he worked up the courage to tell her how he truly felt. To his pleasant surprise, she felt the same way too. 

Aden Shore: Seems nice but I'm not so sure yet...
The man was warm, friendly, and seemingly genuine, willing to lend a listening ear and to help Hiro out whenever he needed it. But somehow, Hiro still found it difficult to open up to him. Perhaps more time spent with this potential family member would do them some bonding good, and help the snowman trust him a little more...
