I keep saying that I want to update my journal and I keep putting it off but NO MORE PROCRASTINATING, LET'S GET THIS DONE. 
I realised it's been a year since I entered the Doujin scene in Singapore and began boothing, selling merchandise of fanart to people here, and taking commissions as well. I'm really thankful for wonderful friends that I've made and gotten to know over the year, and I pray for many more years of boothing fun and hopefully art collabs/karaoke sessions/just having fun! I think art is most meaningful and fun when it's practised in a community, so I'm really thankful for the opportunities to booth and do what I love with fellow artists.
Since the Spring Doujima in April, I've been to Funan Anime Matsuri, EOY, and ICDS (Fall Doujima) as a doujin booth owner. Most of the time, I've been sharing a booth with my buddy
, an amazingly talented and super nice friend I've gotten to know through a chance encounter when we first shared booths at Spring Doujima. Here's some of the new stuff I've made and been selling:
Our next event will probably not be till this December, so I finally have time to draw what I want and think them through carefully instead of rushing them out at the last minute as I ended up doing for EOY and ICDS.
It's difficult to practise drawing every day when you've a full-time job, another super time-consuming passion (dance) and a social/family life you'd like to maintain instead of throwing away. But I've been trying to, because many of my favourite artists say that it's important to do some practice daily, regardless of how busy you might be. We have to work hard to chase our dreams!
In other thoughts, daily life has been reeeeally busy, but fun and productive! Also, my office now has a mini Levi shrine thanks to my awesome/crazy colleague:

1) Blitz was actually created many years ago, initially as a side character, to be the sister of another character of mine, Trixie. Then I decided to join one of my first ever RP groups with her, Morte-Nostrum! Sadly, the group is no longer active, but it was a really nice group with a rich world lore and awesome graphics provided by the founder!
